Our Founders
While working on a hospital team assessing and treating acute child abuse, these three social workers had a dream of providing more compassionate care and of making time for prevention. In 1993 they established their own nonprofit and started providing mental health care to a few families. Over time they became known for their expertise in sexual abuse treatment, treating the whole family, and in prevention. And they built the now thriving Family Enhancement Center, providing multiple services tailored to youth and families while offering cutting edge programming. They are grateful to all those who helped make this a reality and are excited to see what the future holds for this dream.
