We did it! Thanks to our amazing community and donors, we raised over $12,000 for Give to the Max this year! Doubling our goal! Your incredible generosity is what makes our work possible. We are grateful for your support and belief in our mission prevent and heal abuse.
Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s annual day of giving, is Thursday, November 19 2020. At the Family Enhancement Center, we have a goal of raising $6,000 to continue our work to help families heal from trauma and abuse as well as finding lasting solutions to prevent abuse.
In the coming weeks, we will be sharing some personal stories from our amazing volunteers, board members, community partners and donors & why they choose to give to our agency. We are incredibly grateful for these gifts of time, energy, expertise, and financial support – especially during this difficult and uncertain time.
The Family Enhancement Center is dedicated to keeping all kids safe and free from abuse by working with communities to provide innovative programs, family education and intervention. Through the many support services we offer, FEC serves more than 500 children each year who have been impacted by abuse and neglect.
We’re a small organization but our reach is wide! Your 2020 Give to the Max donation enables us to continue our mission of hope and healing for those who need it most. FEC is hosting it’s first ever, socially-distanced Fall Scavenger Hunt! Saturday, September 26th join us for an adventurous morning of teamwork, problem solving, and of course… PRIZES!
We are sharing a little love this month, in the form of fun care packages for ALL! Thanks to the support of our wonderful volunteers, staff, and board members, we are able to assemble and deliver 100 care packages these next few weeks. These “bundles of joy” are made up of sidewalk chalk, construction paper, bubbles, and other fun craft materials. Are you a client or friend of FEC interested in receiving a care package? We would love to send you a little pick-me-up! Send us a message at info@mnpreventabuse.org including your name, address, and phone number. Our Nest Project mentors provide resources, support, and friendship to strengthen families.
