Mary Serie

Attracted by the mission of serving children and families who have experienced trauma in their life, Mary joined Family Enhancement Center in 2016, after working 24 years at two other nonprofits. While she approaches her work through the eyes of finance, she knows numbers only become meaningful when they support and are intertwined with the stories of communities being served.

Mary performs a strategic role in the overall management and direction of Family Enhancement Center within the senior leadership team of six managers. As Director of Operations and Finance, Mary’s primary responsibilities are to plan, implement, manage and control all financial activities of the agency. She also oversees the administrative staff and processes along with daily operations for Family Enhancement Center.
