We Are Open and Going Virtual
The Family Enhancement Center has recently transitioned all psychotherapy and parent education services to a virtual format, utilizing Zoom video software. At this time, families are experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety. They are worried about getting sick, loss of income, loss of structure & stability, and adjusting to having children at home. Our ability to offer mental health services and other educational services is more vital now, than ever before.
Offering therapy and parent support using electronic devices is not ideal – this kind of virtual therapy has its limitations – but we are adapting and moving forward! Our staff is continually learning how to best translate their services to a virtual format and how to engage children and families in therapy over a screen.
